Forest Integrations

Affinity · by Forest Integrations

A meeting companion that listens with you.

Affinity listens to the meeting you are in, keeps a transcript on your machine, picks out the customer's questions as they are asked, nudges you privately about agenda items you haven't covered, and researches answers in lines you can read aloud. Nothing is posted into the meeting.

In preview  Windows and macOS. Your words stay on your machine.

What it does

Everything a good second chair would do, quietly.

Works with any meeting software

Teams, Zoom, Webex or a browser tab. Affinity captures what your computer plays plus your microphone, so no integration with the meeting product is needed.

Transcription on your machine

Two channels, you and everyone else, transcribed locally in a separate process. Audio never leaves the computer. Voices can be remembered and named, locally too.

Questions as they're asked

Lines from the other side that read as a question are listed the moment they're transcribed, then rewritten clearly, with the implied ones added. Each has a Research button.

Agenda lights

Paste the agenda as it is. Each item gets a green light once covered, with a chip per mention, and a private reminder of what's still open before the end time.

Teleprompter answers

Research comes back as a headline and three to six lines in the voice of your business, meant to be read aloud. The facts, confidence and sources sit behind them.

After the meeting

A debrief with the summary, decisions, action items, concerns and next steps, and the customer record updated: state, sentiment, projects, follow-ups. Saved where the record says.

Privacy

What leaves the machine, and only when.

  • A trigger phrase or a Research press sends the recent transcript window, your question, and a few lines about your business and the customer to the AI you've chosen, on the subscription you already hold. Claude is our recommendation; OpenAI, API keys and local models are on the way.
  • Agenda checks, question passes and sentiment send only the new transcript lines since the last pass. Each can be turned off.
  • Speech models are downloaded once and checked against a pinned size and hash before they're unpacked.
  • Customer records are written to local files first. Connect Attunement and Affinity can pick the meeting from your calendar, read agenda files, fetch the Teams transcript, and keep those records in your own tenant, in your existing CRM, or in the data sources we build into your Attunement deployment.
  • The AI tooling we ship runs with every telemetry, error-reporting and auto-update switch turned off. The app uses only the permissions it needs, and what it does with your words is written down in plain language.

Lead meetings with a calm second chair.

Affinity is in preview and in daily use on our own calls. If you'd like to try it with yours, let's talk.
